We at Ayer Photography of Vermont  offer two types of albums that we use almost exclusively for wedding photo guest books - the Nexus and Brighton Art.  Instead of having just a series of lines for your guests to sign their name, our photo guest books are custom-made using your images.  For a wedding the left facing pages are usually a full color collage of engagement photographs, while the right facing pages are a faded photograph from the same sessions, on which space is provided for your guests to write a note or greeting free of formatting.  No longer is the guest book something to put away once your thank you notes have been written, but it is a photo album in its own right that you will view over and over again, complete with personal wishes from your family and friends.           

PHOTO GUEST BOOKS       

All of our photo guest books consist of an even number of pages.  The first and last page are done in full color.  In the case of a wedding photo guest book, the first page will also usually contain titling, such as the bride and groom's names and the date of their wedding. 

Inside, all left facing pages are full color collages, while the right facing pages are faded photographs, over which guests write their personal greetings.  For wedding photo guest books, the images used will usually be from an engagement or pre-wedding photo session of the couple getting married.  Often they are at the same location where they are planning to marry, or at other locations meaningful to the couple.  There is no fixed layout for the left facing pages; they are customized to the images to be used and the occasion for which it is intended.

NEXUS Photo Guest Albums      

The Nexus Photo Guest Albums typically consist of 12 to 20 semi-rigid pages (sides) that are then spiral bound and placed in a black leatherette cover.  It is one of our most rugged albums, making it popular for outdoor weddings and ones with younger children in attendance.  The spiral construction allows the album to lay flat.    

BRIGHTON Photo Guest Book     

This version of a Photo Guest Book is created utilizing a special version of our Brighton Press-Printed PhotoBook.  These books usually consist of twenty (20) pages (sides) which is the practical minimum for this type of book.  The pages are a special 110 pound Matte paper.  While its matted finish makes it a little more muted than the Nexus album, the textured surface is an ideal writing surface for your guests.  Each page are specially hinged enabling the book to lay completely flat. 

While our standard cover is a White on White Floral fabric for a wedding guest book, it can also be made with any of our 21 cover options for our Brighton PhotoBooks, including both standard and wrap-around photo canvas covers.
